Attention All Dining Hall Patrons

 

      Very Important Information About May Term Service    

 

The dining hall will close on Tuesday, April 29th at 1:00 pm and will re-open on Monday, June 9th, for the Summer I semester.  We will remain closed here at the dining hall throughout the May semester.

 

Where do we eat for the month of May?

We will be serving at the Montgomery Food Court during the May semester.  The dates will be Tuesday, May 6th through Tuesday, June 3rd.  We will open Monday through Friday, but will be closed on Saturday and Sunday.  Breakfast will be Chick-fil-A items beginning at 8:00 am.  The board buffet will be set up for service at lunch from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm and then again for dinner at 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm.  Chick-fil-A items will be available 8:00 am – 1:30 pm, but will not be served at the dinner meal.  Taco Bell items will be available during lunch only, but not at dinner.

Do we buy meal plans?

Meal plans will be available for purchase to use with the board menu.  Please keep in mind the menu will not be what you’re used to at the dining hall.  We will have the limited buffet at lunch and dinner for use with the meal plan purchased.  Each plan will come with flex dollars to use at Chick-fil-A and Taco Bell.  You will not be able to use the board meals at Chick-fil-A or Taco Bell.

 

What are the meal plan options?

 

10 meals per week + $75.00 flex                               $315.00 per term (see dates below)

This plan allows lunch and dinner Monday through Friday at the board buffet throughout the four week term.  The flex dollars can be used to make on campus purchases at the food court or off campus purchases at Domino’s Pizza.

 

7 meals per week + $75.00 flex                                 $255.00 per term (see dates below)

This plan allows any 7 of the 10 meals served Monday through Friday at the board buffet throughout the four week term.  The flex dollars can be used to make on campus purchases at the food court or off campus purchases at Domino’s Pizza.

 

5 meals per week + $75.00 flex                                 $209.00 per term (see dates below)

This plan allows any 5 of the 10 meals served Monday through Friday at the board buffet throughout the four week term.  The flex dollars can be used to make on campus purchases at the food court or off campus purchases at Domino’s Pizza.

        

BONUS PLAN   The bonus plan is for students who will not make use of the structured meal plans above.  It is designed for students who want the flexibility of buying items on an individual basis and are not interested in the guaranteed preset number of meals each week.  As meals are purchased the cost is debited to the bonus account.  The bonus dollars can be used with the board buffet or to purchase items at Chick-fil-A or Taco Bell, but not off campus at Domino’s Pizza.  There is a minimum $50.00 purchase to start the account.  You can add to the account at any time throughout the summer in $25.00 increments.  The bonus dollars will roll semester to semester during the summer, but must be used by the last day of the Summer II.  They will not carry to fall semester.  There will be no refunds issued on unused dollars.

 

Can I still eat from the board buffet if I don’t purchase a meal plan?

Yes.  The cost of the board buffet will be $6.00 for lunch and $7.00 for dinner.  If you choose not to purchase a meal plan, you can pay for the buffet with cash, debit or credit card, flex or bonus.

 

What if I have bonus dollars left over at the end of May term?

The bonus dollars will continue to roll over throughout the remainder of the summer sessions.  You can continue to use them at the food court or at the dining hall when we re-open on the first day of the Summer I session.  However, they will not roll over to the following fall semester.

 

Remember:  we will re-open the dining hall for the Summer I semester on Monday, June 9th.  For those of you who will be going home for the summer…. We hope you have a safe and care-free summer.  We’ll see you in the fall.
