CAST Presents Once Upon a Mattress at the JSU/McClellan Theatre--Play Opens April 24

CAST (Community Actors' Studio Theatre) presents Once Upon a Mattress, the musical comedy version of "The Princess and the Pea" fairytale that first propelled Carol Burnett to stardom, April 24 - May 11.

This family-friendly show features dancing and singing jesters, a silent king, a plotting queen, a not-too-bright prince and a princess named "Fred" starring audience favorites Denise Davis, Caleb Clark, Jennie Wall, Tim Doyle, Jeremy Reaves, Heather Garlick, Glenn Davenport, Stephonn Ammons and Fred Lawton. Once Upon a Mattress is directed by Kimberley Dobbs, CAST Artistic Director.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students with discounts for groups of 12 or more. All Thursday night performances are "Pay-What-You- Want" nights at CAST.

Performances are at 8 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights and 2:30 p.m. on Sundays at the McClellan Theatre, 100 Gamecock Drive, Anniston.

From Anniston follow Alabama 21 north to the Anniston Middle School, turn right at the light on to Summerall Gate Road, follow Summerall Gate Road for 1.7 miles past the soccer field on your right to Buckner Drive (which forks to the left), continue on Summerall Gate Road, take your next right on to Rucker Street, and the theatre will be the first building on your left.
