Cultivating Shiitake Mushrooms in Natural Logs
Join JSU's Dr. Safaa Al-Hamdani to learn how to grow shitake mushrooms and how to make money doing it! Course begins at JSU Martin Hall (Room 122)for a presentation on the specific “how to” of this process and then moves outdoors to the green house for a four-hour “hands on” step-by-step program.

Fee:         $40 per participant

Note: The $40 fee includes supplies to complete one log. Additional logs may be purchased after the workshop. Bring your own "brown bag" lunch. Pre-registration required.
