FREE Workshops Coming Soon
Legacy, Partners in Environmental Education has 6 fabulous FREE teacher workshops planned for 2008.  These workshops cover a variety of topics including, but not limited to, geology, coastal ecology, caves, and living streams and will be held in several locations around the state.  Any K-12 teacher currently teaching within the state of Alabama, any person about to or who has already graduated with an education degree, graduate students with an education degree and other environmental educators are eligible to participate. Teachers from all subject areas and grade levels are encouraged to attend. 

 

 

Space is limited and there are application deadlines.  Meals, lodging, and teaching materials are provided.  Teachers will receive CEUs for attending these exciting workshops.  You can visit the Legacy website at www.legacyenved.org  for descriptions of the workshops and to download applications. 

 

Legacy, Partners in Environmental Education, is an AMSTI Affiliate Program.
