Chili contest

Have you ever wondered just how good your Chili is?

Well, come on out to the front porch area of Mason Hall (Music Building) on Friday, March 7th between 12:00 and 1:30 p.m. to put it to the test.  We will have a panel of judges to see who has the best chili.  There are prizes to be won and the categories of Most Unique, Hottest, and the People’s Choice Awards.   Our first place is a cash award, second place is a Struts Gift Card and third place is a Wal-Mart Gift card.  All Guests are welcome to bring a pot of their best chili.  There is a $10 dollar entry fee to be collected at the event to enter the contest and a $2 dollar fee to sample the chili for yourself.  Power outlets and tables will be provided.

Support our local Student Tuba Chapter of ITEA (International Tuba Euphonium Association).  We sponsor events for the tuba, the euphonium, the music department and the community.  We bring in guest artists from all over the world.  This fall we will hold our 3rd annual Octubafest and our guest artist this year is Øystein Baadsvik, tuba artist from Norway.
