Dear Faculty & Staff:

On behalf of the Xi Xi Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., I invite you to participate in a historic event that will impact the world for years to come. We are presently engaged in a fundraising campaign for the MLK Memorial Foundation Project. What is the MLK Memorial Foundation Project? Glad you ask!

The project is a $100 million venture to erect a memorial commemorating the life and legacy of a civil rights icon, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Dr. King’s lifelong commitment to achieving human dignity should compel each of us to be good stewards of society. The Memorial will serve as a constant reminder of his nonviolent methods to achieve freedom, opportunity, and justice for all of humanity.

The site has been selected (National Mall in Washington D.C.), and the architecture design has been established. Now, we must band together to help “build the dream.” I ask that you play a pivotal role in this noteworthy endeavor through your financial support.

To make the “dream” a reality, it takes your support. Please take the time to fill out the form (MLK Form) for your tax deductible contribution. I, personally, will make sure the Foundation receives them.
