Choirs Join to Sing Works of Anniston Composer

Tuskegee University's 80-member Golden Voices Choir, joined at times by Jacksonville State University's 50-voice A Cappella Choir, sang works of composer William Levi Dawson on Sunday afternoon at The Church of St. Michael and All Angels in Anniston. Dawson, who died in 1990, was an Anniston native and an internationally recognized composer. The free event was sponsored by the Brewtonville Heritage Foundation of Jacksonville.
