The Small Business Administration in conjunction with the Pell City Chamber of Commerce, Jacksonville State University Small Business Development Center, Jacksonville State Center for Economic Development, and the Alabama Small Business Institute for Commerce are hosting a loan clinic at the Chamber of Commerce Office located at 1618 Cogswell Avenue, Pell City, on February 19, 2008.

Using the Community Express program, start-up and existing business applicants can apply for unsecured loans up to $50,000. This program requires the clients to receive business counseling from a technical assistance provider (TAP) before approved loans are disbursed. The counseling is free. The Jacksonville State University Small Business Development Center will have representatives available to schedule counseling.

The event will be held Tuesday, February 19, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. A presentation of the SBA Business Loan Programs will be made at 1:00 p.m. and repeated at 2:00 pm. Advance registration is not required.
