Make Plans to Attend the 2008 Higher Education Day Rally
The Alabama Higher Education Partnership will hold its annual Higher Ed Day rally on the steps of the Alabama Statehouse on Thursday, March 6 at 11 a.m. in Montgomery. Alumni and friends are invited to join JSU faculty, staff and students in supporting increased funding for higher education in Alabama.

As noted on the flyer, a free barbeque lunch will be served to all participants immediately following the rally. Free lunch tickets can be printed off the website at www.higheredpartners.org/ and are also available through your campus SGA office. The SGA is coordinating this event and providing buses for transportation to and from Montgomery. Buses will depart at 7:00 a.m. in front of TMB. Expected return time is 4:00 p.m. 

There is also a $100 book scholarship being awarded in a random drawing per bus. The name of each student passenger riding on the bus will be put in a box and the SGA officer riding on that bus will randomly select a name. This event is open to the campus population.
