Wilderness Survival 101

Update: Scheduling Change Due to Wintry Weather Forecast
Event Postponed
Rescheduled on January 26, 2008 . . . One Week Later

Weather.com is predicting some interesting and unpredictable weather for this weekend…high of 35 degrees and possibly 3 inches of snow.

Although our brave leader, Captain Mize, assures us that he could teach us his polar ice survival skills, he’d rather just postpone this class for a week. We are moving the class to January 26, 2008 (NEXT Saturday) snow or shine!!

We do have a few spaces available, so call ASAP to register for this exciting and unique program.

Let your instincts come alive and learn to survive.  Captain Jerry Mize (JSU Department of Military Science) will teach hands-on methods of basic survival skills dealing with water, shelter, food, fire and getting found. Skills are similar to those shown on popular TV.
