WEATHER STATEMENT

 

JACKSONVILLE- The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook that includes the campuses of Jacksonville State University and JSU-Gadsden.  Severe thunderstorms with the possibility of tornadoes, large hail, and locally heavy rain are likely for today and tonight across Central Alabama.

 

Classes are to meet as scheduled.  The university will continue to monitor the weather and will post updates on the JSU Homepage and MyJSU.  Students are asked to use their own judgment and not put themselves at risk.
