Department of Art Juried Student Show

The 2008 JSU Department of Art Juried Student Show opens in the Hammond Hall Gallery Tuesday, January 29 with a reception from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. This exhibit has grown into one of the department's largest and most popular exhibits over the years.

Student artists are encouraged to enter selected pieces of their artwork into a juried competition in which "First Place" and "Honorable Mention" are awarded in each field of Photography, Painting, Ceramics, Design, Drawing, Graphic Design and Printmaking.

The exhibit will run through Wednesday, February 15. If you can't make it to the opening reception, then drop by when you have time. Gallery hours are 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
