President's Radio Show Features Dr. Tina Deshotels

Dr. Tina Deshotels, Assistant Professor of Sociology, Jacksonville State University, is featured on the President's Radio Show this week. Dr. Deshotels is here to talk about her book which examines the kind of career opportunities available for women and, in particular, the wage structure related to women. Her research based on interviews with 115 exotic dancers finds that the salary of  an exotic dancer is impressive compared to the traditional jobs women hold in the fields of nursing, care giving, and teaching.
