Coosa Valley Tech Names JSU Alum Tom Bojo
Instructor of the Year

Coosa Valley Tech named Tom Bojo, criminal justice program director and instructor, as the 2007 Rick Perkins Instructor of the Year.

As the college's 2007 Instructor of the Year, Bojo will compete among other technical college instructors at the local consortium level. Consortia winners receive statewide recognition for their achievement, and then move on to state-level competition.

Bojo’s educational background includes an associate degree in Criminal Justice from Floyd College, a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Jacksonville State University, and a master’s degree in public administration from Jacksonville State University.

He joined Coosa Valley Tech in 2003 to develop and launch the Criminal Justice program. In addition to his regular duties, Bojo serves as the captain of CVTC’s Institutional Effectiveness Leadership Team and is a member of the Northwest Georgia Chair of Criminal Justice Technology Consortia.

Instructors were nominated for the Rick Perkins Instructor of the Year by other faculty and staff at CVTC. Eight instructors were nominated to compete for the title of CVTC’s Instructor of the Year
