Learning by the Lake Series: Fish, Snakes
and Other Lake Critters



Join United States Forest Service biologists and JSU Field School experts for an interesting hour of educational fun at Coleman Lake Recreational Area in the Talladega National Forest. Coleman Lake is only a 20-minute drive from Jacksonville, Heflin, Oxford and Anniston...it also has wonderful camping facilities.

Take advantage of the beautiful location and camp for the weekend! Family friendly.

Join the United States Forest Service for the Junior Fishing Derby for kids which includes a fishing competition and fishing etiquette workshop.
