JSU Center Stage Winterguard Wins Prelims Round at World Championships

The Center Stage Winterguard under the direction of Rodney Bailey won their preliminary round at the Winterguard International World Championships last month in Dayton, Ohio, defeating guards from other universities in Florida, Indiana, Colorado, Indiana, New York, Oregon, Michigan, South Carolina, California, Canada and many others. Because of this historic win and because of their innovative design, Winterguard International has chosen the JSU Center Stage Winterguard to be a WGI world class finalist and has classified them as one of the top 15 best colorguards in the world. This is a first for Jacksonville State University as well as the State of Alabama.
