The menu for the "Wellness Wednesday" program on April 11 features:
  • Grilled Chicken Breast
  • Rice Pilaf

  • Herb Roasted Tomatoes
  • Tortellini with Marinara Sauce
  • Tossed Salad w/4 or 5 toppings

Following lunch Gina Mabrey, JSU's Wellness Coordinator, has scheduled a short program entitled "Trample Obesity." This program is being presented by students in the Family and Consumer Sciences and Exercise Science and Wellness Departments and will include a discussion of how to accumulate the suggested 10,000 steps per day! As always emphasis is placed on pointing out the good choices you can make that will improve the quality of your life.

After Mabrey's presentation, serious contenders are encouraged to participate in a 15-minute walk—so bring your sneakers.

The next and final Wellness Wednesday program being offered in this series of monthly events for this special health promotion campaign is scheduled on May 9. The wellness topic for this program is Halt Hypertension.

Come and join us on Wellness Wednesdays and let’s GET WELL JSU!!
