3rd Annual Jax Lions Club Chief Ladiga 5K Race
Come join the Jacksonville Lions Club for a 5K (3.1 mile) race on April 21, 2007. The race starts at 8:00 a.m. at the Pete Mathews Coliseum on campus. Runners and walkers are welcome. Race day registration begins at 6:30 a.m. inside the Pete Mathews Coliseum.

Advanced registration is $12 and race day fee is $15. With a $2 discount for JSU faculty, staff and students, the fee is only $10 for those pre-registering. All race proceeds benefit the many charities supported by the Jacksonville Lions Club.

Free T-shirts will be given to the first 150 to arrive. Door prizes, along with overall and standard age group awards, are also being presented. Wonderful lion awards will be presented to overall and age group winners. Click here for flyer listing awards available in this year's race.

Babysitting will be provided. A children's "Dash around the Track" race will be held after the 5K race, as well as our first "Go! Baby, Go! Quick Crawl." There is no entry fee for the baby race. Cute stuffed lion prizes will be awarded to the fastest crawling babies.

You may also pick up an entry form from Laurie Charnigo, Education Librarian at JSU and Director of the Jacksonville Lions Club Chief Ladiga 5K. Laurie's office is on the 5th floor of the Houston Cole Library or you may send requests campus mail to "Laurie Charnigo/ Houston Cole Library." If sending checks to cover entry fees, please make checks payable to the "Jacksonville Lions Club."
