Outreach Project Offers
Free Diabetes/Obesity Screening
The Jacksonville State University Peer Educators, Counseling and Career Services in partnership with West Anniston Foundation presents a For Your Life! Outreach project. A project of West Anniston Foundation, this project is being implemented to address the growing concern of Diabetes and obesity in our community. Their goal is to educate, screen, and promote a greater awareness of the risks associated with both of these health concerns.

Sponsored by the West Anniston Foundation with funding provided by the Office of Minority Health, there will be free Diabetes/obesity screening offered on Tuesday, April 3, 2nd Floor - Theron Montgomery Building, at Jacksonville State University from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. All participants will receive a free T-shirt.
