Honda Manufacturing of Alabama presents check to President Meehan for grant awarded to Career Placement Services.

Honda Manufacturing of Alabama awarded a grant to Career Placement Services in the amount of $5,000 to fund new marketing strategies for JSU students. The proposal written by Becca Turner, Coordinator of Cooperative Education, defined a marketing program for use of the grant money which includes revising and updating current student career guides as well as other employability resources.

Honda supports JSU’s Career Placement Services consistently with their participation in campus events, but, most importantly, they hire JSU graduates and place undergraduate and graduate students in a variety of cooperative education positions.
