Blackboard Advanced Content Training Workshop
On Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at 1:00 p.m., the Office of Distance Education will be offering the Blackboard Advanced Content Training Workshop. This is the second time this semester the workshop will be available for faculty, staff, and administrators. This workshop is intended to build on the introductory training session, Basic Content & Navigation. While completion of the introductory workshop prior to attending advanced content training is strongly recommended, it is not required.

Goals of this workshop include:

• Mastering advanced content addition (Course Links, Learning Units, advanced Visual Text Editor tools, and Glossary)
  
  
• Course Design including menu modification and availability (including adding new content areas specific to your course)
  
  
• Student/instructor file exchange and tracking tools (Assignment Manager) and item and content/student access tracking functions
  
  
• Review of tools available for electronic grading of students’ assignments

This workshop is free of charge, and it is open to faculty, staff, and administrators who may be interested in using the Blackboard platform, who need a refresher with any of the topics described above, or who would like to learn about the many valuable features available in Blackboard.

The workshop will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2007, from 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Further information about this workshop will be provided upon registration. Please be sure to include your first and last name in the body of the email.

Please submit your request by no later than Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at noon. You will receive a confirmation email that you have been enrolled into the workshop with additional information upon registration.
