MCIS Colloquium

The department of Mathematical, Computing and Information  Sciences announces the following change in time for the "MCIS Colloquium" being held today (Friday, March 9) at Ayers Hall in Room 355:

Due to unforeseen circumstances the MCIS Colloquium scheduled for 2:00 this afternoon (355 Ayers Hall) HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL 3:00 PM THIS AFTERNOON.

Wlodzimierz Kuperberg, holder of a prestigious Alumni Professorship at Auburn University, will be the guest speaker. Dr. Kuperberg's presentation is entitled "Some Touching Questions in Discrete Geometry." Though on the cutting edge of research, his talks are known for being the kind which can also be enjoyed by those with very little background in mathematics.

There is no admissions charge. Refreshments are planned prior to the talk.
