SIFE Marks "America Saves Week":
Launches Social Marketing Campaign

In partnership with the Calhoun County Saves Program, a local component of the America Saves program, JSU’s Student’s in Free Enterprise (SIFE) is launching a social marketing campaign “Build Wealth Not Debt” that encourages participants to build wealth, not debt, through systematic saving and debt reduction. This free program is available to anyone who agrees to work toward a savings goal such as homeownership, school tuition, retirement, emergency fund or even debt repayment. Savers set monthly savings goals of as little as $10, and then try to save this amount each month.

Enrolled savers receive an enrollment card, the "American Saver" newsletter four times per year, an initial telephone or e-mail consultation with a certified financial planner, periodic consultation with a wealth building coach and the opportunity to attend free seminars conducted by financial professionals on a wide variety of financial topics.

As part of America Saves Week (February 25th to March 4th) SIFE will present several free informational sessions titled “Build Wealth Not Debt.” Come join us in Merrill Building 101 on March 1st, at 8:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m. or 5:30 p.m. for a brief presentation to learn more about this exciting program.
