The Facts Are Back!

The Office of Institutional Research and Assessment is pleased to announce the publication of the 2006-2007 edition of the JSU Fact Book, which began distribution via campus mail this week.

This year’s edition is bigger and better than ever, containing nearly 50 percent more pages that include new feature material highlighting the publication’s theme, “MyJSU Factbook.”

In past editions, the Fact Book contained statistics about all things JSU, supplemented by a section about the University’s history. While the vital statistics and history are included in the 2006-2007 edition, this year’s book also profiles ten current and past JSU students, which gives a glimpse of some of the faces behind the facts.

Among those students and alumni profiled in the Fact Book are a JSU trustee, a first-time freshman, a grandmother who is also a JSU senior, and a student who has completed nearly her entire degree via distance education.

The JSU Fact Book is the official source of historical and statistical information about Jacksonville State University. It is distributed annually on campus and throughout the community served by JSU for use as a desk reference for anyone desiring a university-wide perspective. In addition to the printed edition, the Fact Book is available on mini CD or online at www.jsu.edu/info/factbook .

The Fact Book is published by the Office of Institutional Research and Assessment, 203 Bibb Graves Hall. For more information or to request either the printed edition or CD edition, please call 782-8144 or e-mail oira@jsu.edu.
