James Brown of Jacksonville, one of the most senior members of Jacksonville State University's water aerobics class, poses with his wife Pearly during a surprise birthday party on Wednesday. He will be 92 years old on Thurs., April 27. The class, led by instructor Donna Hey, held the party at Mathews Coliseum after the morning workout session. Last year, Mr. Brown performed a birthday jump from the high dive. This year, because he's recuperating from recent health problems, Mr. Brown decided to avoid the diving board and just enjoy a slice of cake.
