Music at McClellan Starts Saturday!

Please mark your calendars, call your friends, pack your picnic, and get ready for Music at McClellan.

The third season of Anniston’s “Longleaf Series” featuring the Alabama Symphony Orchestra starts this Saturday, May 27th.  Followed by three additional concerts (June 3rd, 10th and 17th), the 2006 season promises life long memories for all those who attend. While the website http://www.musicatmcclellan.org/ has ticket information and plenty of detail, the most important thing to remember is that on every night the grounds open at 6:00 and the concerts begin at 8:00. Also important is the abundance of entertainment before each show. We’ll have activities for children, jugglers, mimes, pre-concert musical acts, food, and beverage vendors too.

If in case or rain, no problem – we have an indoor facility known as Miller Gym that we sometimes call the Miller Music Hall because of its amazingly terrific acoustics. Many have said that our rain location has the best sound that they have ever heard.

But no matter the weather and no matter the show, every night is designed for a high quality performance, unbeatable family fun, and easy access for all. Please log on or call 256-310-0852 for more information.

Remember, if you act now, you can buy three and get one free. That’s an $80 ticket value for $60.

The series gets even better when you add our “Free Friday Flicks” (outdoor movies at McClellan) and the “Saturday Market - Cafe Brunch”. Thank you for supporting the arts and we’ll see you at Music at McClellan!
