Like Mother, Like Daughter

Like mother, like daughter. At least that’s the case with Kay Johnson and her daughters Michele and Katie. She [Kay] got her B.S. degree in Elementary Education from Jacksonville State University and became a teacher at Pleasant Valley Elementary School. But she wasn’t through. She got her Master’s degree from JSU a few years later. But she still wasn’t through. On April 28th, she received a degree as an Education Specialist. What made her third college degree a little more special was the fact that her daughter, Katie, also graduated from Jacksonville State at the same time. She received a B.S. in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. See story at The Jacksonville New's website: news@jaxnews.com.
