Mary Bevis Receives Award

Mary Bevis, head of serials and acquisitions at Jacksonville State University's Houston Cole Library, was recently awarded the Librarian of the Year 2006 Award by Beta Phi Mu, Beta Kappa Chapter, at the Alabama Library Association Conference in Florence for her outstanding work and leadership in Alabama libraries.  Presenting the award to Bevis at the ALLA president's reception is Dennis Nichols, adult services director of Homewood Public Library.
