Volunteers Needed for Castle Earth Children's Court


Nature Journaling Station from Mountain Longleaf Festival 2005


Castle Earth Children's Court is a primary component of the exciting Mountain Longleaf Festival on April 22nd. Each child that attends the event will receive a passport. When they participate in a learning station, the child's passport is stamped. If they get at least 10 out of 25 stamps, the child can redeem the passport for a nature prize (poster, pencil, etc.)

JSU Field Schools needs volunteers to work in three-hour shifts from 9:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. Volunteers will help operate the children's stations . . . some examples are face painting, EYE SPY Nature, Migration Station, Recycled Puppets, Pinch Pot Clay, Plant A Seed, Soap Carving, and more!!
