Contemporary Glass Exhibition
at Hammond Hall Gallery
Runs through March 17

The Contemporary Glass Exhibition is one of the featured events of this year's Kaleidoscope-Festival of the Arts. This exhibition opened Tuesday, February 28 and runs through Friday, March 17.

The Art Department's Glass Exhibition included a Lecture / Demonstration: "Glass Works" held Wednesday, March 1 at the Art Department Annex. This program featured glass blowers Kelly Robertson and Jeremy Alford. Both Robertson and Alford have a degree in glass blowing from Georgia Southwestern University and have traveled to schools and art shows with their homemade studio on wheels for about three years. The top story for this week's "Chanticleer" provided coverage of this Lecture/Demonstration Program. See article "Clearly Hot Stuff". To view items on display at the Glass Exhibition, see the "Chanticleer" article "Art Glass at Hammond Hall".
