Shorthanded JSU Gets Win with Russell

Jacksonville State played its first NCAA Division I men’s postseason home basketball game in school history Tuesday night without its leading scorer. Turns out, the Gamecocks didn’t need him. Senior guard B.J. Spencer was suspended late in the day for violating unspecified team rules, but senior point guard Walker D. Russell once again put the team on his shoulders and made another piece of JSU basketball history. See story at The Anniston Star's website: www.annistonstar.com.
