Chix with Stix to Perform
for Kaleidoscope

The Kaleidoscope Arts Festival will present five exceptional women in an exciting and fun-filled program of music for percussion instruments in the Mason Hall Performance Center on the campus of Jacksonville State University on Sunday, 26 February at 7:30 p.m.

The group, Chix with Stix, is composed of five very talented percussionists playing numerous instruments including marimba, vibes, bells, timpani, tambourines and a variety of drums in a lively and entertaining performance.

The group members have performed with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, the Atlanta Opera Orchestra, the Atlanta Ballet Orchestra, the Columbus Symphony and the Macon Symphony.

The mission of Chix with Stix is to not only entertain their audience, but to educate and enlighten them about the world of percussion. Chix with Stix is well-known for the versatility and talent of the individual members. The uniqueness of the sounds they achieve and the musicality of their performances surprise and delight audiences wherever they appear.

This performance is part of the continuing program of arts presentations and musical performances occurring on the campus of Jacksonville State University. This program is free and is appropriate for family audiences. Convenient parking is available and the public is cordially invited.
