Graciela Garcia Joins News Bureau

Graciela Garcia

Graciela Garcia recently joined the Jacksonville State University News Bureau as a student staff writer.

A native of San Salvador, El Salvador, Garcia is a senior majoring in finance with a minor in English.  She is a member of JSU's International House and is graduating in April.

Garcia previously worked at the News Bureau as a Spanish translator for the newswire.

"I enjoy writing very much, and as a finance major I haven't had the opportunity to do that in a while," said Garcia.  "So I am very excited about rejoining the News Bureau."

Garcia plans to continue working in finance after graduation, and says she will eventually pursue a master's degree.
