Journalist Defines "Community Journalism"

Good journalism helps a community define itself, providing readers with both information and a sense of place – a running story about the community told in the community’s voice. That was the thrust of Alberto Ibargüen’s definition of “community journalism,” provided as he delivered the 17th annual Harry M. and Edel Y. Ayers Lecture at Jacksonville State University Wednesday. See story at The Anniston Star's website: www.annistonstar.com.
