Academe Meeting Jan. 31
Dr. Russel Lemmons, a member of the Department of History and Foreign Languages, will be the guest presenter at the Academe meeting on Tuesday, January 31, at 3:15 p.m., in Room 1103 C, Houston Cole Library. He will speak on the topic "A Democracy Confronts Terrorism: The Case of Israel."

His presentation will explore some of the ways Israel has combated terrorism since 1948 while maintaining liberal institutions. His comments will be partially based on research he did on a recent trip to Israel.

All faculty, staff, administrators, and others interested in hearing Dr. Lemmons' presentation are invited to attend.
