BRIEF SYNOPSIS:   Jacksonville State University Departments of Drama and Music presents George and Ira Gershwin’s musical CRAZY FOR YOU.  It’s 1930.  Bobby wants to audition for the Zangler Theatre but he just doesn’t have what Zangler wants. His mother sends him to Deadrock, Nevada to take care of business at another theatre—boy meets girl; girl hates boy; and, the heat rises! This charming show with music by two American icons features such memorable tunes as “Someone to Watch Over Me,” “Embraceable You,” “I Got Rhythm,” and “They Can’t Take That Away From Me” among others.  While CRAZY FOR YOU is suitable for the entire family, the show will be best enjoyed by those over the age of 10.
