In the 1930s, Jacksonville had a second movie theater on the
square -- The Iris. The present-day Jacksonville Mortgage Services
resides in that spot downtown, next door to Craven's Barber
Shop and the old Tavern on the northeast side of the square.

Today there's only one remaining lion keystone from the old
arches, and it is above the barber shop door (last two photos
