Fireworks Scheduled July 3; Donations Needed

Jacksonville's annual fireworks celebration will be held between 8 and 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 3 at Pete Mathews Coliseum -- and citizens are urged to show their financial support.

Mayor Johnny Smith said only about half the cost of the celebration has been raised. To help, send donations to American Legion Post 57, P. O. Box 592, Jacksonville, AL 36265.
