Sentell Named Top Canon Government Marketing Specialist

Mark A. Sentell of Summerville, Ga., a 1984 Jacksonville State University alumnus, has been named Top Canon Government Marketing Specialist. He was instrumental in obtaining a purchase agreement with the United States Department of Defense that allowed military bases to buy Canon digital imaging products and software. The agreement represents $60 million in potential revenue for Canon during the next five years. The announcement was made by Mike Davison, Canon’s director and general manager.

Mr. Sentell holds a bachelor of science degree in business management and industrial psychology from JSU. He is on the JSU alumni board of governors and is vice president of the North Georgia/Southeast Tennessee chapter and the Rome, Ga., chapter of the alumni association. He is the son of Willa Sentell and Alvin Sentell, both of Summerville. He is married to Melody Norton Sentell. Their son Alex is a seventh grader at Summerville Middle School.
