Ashley Stedham Named Mimosa Editor

Jacksonville State University's communications board has named Ashley Stedham as editor of the Mimosa.

The Mimosa serves as a memory book and informal history for JSU students, faculty and staff. Stedham was selected based on her experience and the results of a competitive selection process.

Stedham is a rising senior majoring in communication and minoring in English. She previously served as the organization's editor for the Mimosa. She has also been involved in the SGA by serving on the justice and elections committees and is a member the international women's fraternity Alpha Omicron Pi.

"As a student at JSU, it has been an honor to serve the university in several different aspects," said Ashley.  "Being elected editor is not only another honor, but also a challenge that I will meet with open arms."

She assumed the responsibilities and duties of the position on
May 2.
