Hook Up with Native Fishes of Alabama June 25

Have you ever peered into an Alabama lake or creek and thought, �I wonder what is down there?� Join JSU Ichthyologist Dr. Mark Meade and JSU Field Schools Renee Morrison to find out!

He�ll take you out to explore several different aquatic habitats in the Talladega National Forest where you will assist him with seign/netting and electroshock techniques to find a diverse collection of fish species. This is an absolutely fascinating and shocking experience!

Pre-registration is required. Transportation will be provided for a limited number of early registrants.

  • Location of Event: Meet at Frog Pond Talladega National Forest.
  • Admission Charge: $10 per person
