Alice in Wonderland Begins April 30

After months of hard work, the Playfellows Theatre will present Alice in Wonderland at Jacksonville State University’s Theron Montgomery Auditorium on 30 April at 6:00 p.m. and 1 May at 2:00 p.m. Each show will be approximately two hours long. About thirty area children will perform and countless children and parents will take pride in their contributions of stage and production preparation.

Owner and director of Playfellows Theatre is Traci J. Cox. She hopes the community will support Alice in Wonderland.

“I think that this show is a perfect opportunity for us to really put our mission into play and show results from everyone’s hard work,” said Ms. Cox.

Playfellows seeks to provide an opportunity for interested children to take part in life theater performance and to offer quality entertainment to area residents.

Tickets are $5.00 per person and may be purchased prior to the performance at Gold's Gym or Curves in Jacksonville. Ms. Cox is seeking business owners who will purchase tickets for children who cannot afford to attend. Call 237-7774 or 239-9291 for information about the performances.
