Phi Beta Kappa Hosts Lecturer
Dr. Matt Cartmill April 21

On Thursday, April 21, at 7:30 p.m. on the 11th Floor of the Houston Cole Library, the Gamma of Alabama Graduate Association of Phi Beta Kappa will present a public lecture given by Dr. Matt Cartmill, Professor of Biological Anthropology and Anatomy at the Duke University Medical School. Dr. Cartmill's lecture is entitled "Evolution, Creation, and Eternity: What's Wrong with the 'Creation' Part of 'Creation Science.'"

A past president of the American Association of Physical Anthropologists, Dr. Cartmill is the author of A View to Death the Morning: Hunting and Nature Through History, the co-author of Human Structure and the former editor-in-chief of the American Journal of Physical Anthropology. The lecture is free and open to the public.
