Mountain Longleaf Festival
at Historic McClellan April 16

Arts, Environment and Fun! Celebrate the official opening of the Mountain Longleaf National Refuge with Senator Jeff Sessions and representatives from the US Fish & Wildlife Service, JSU Field Schools, Calhoun County Sheriff's Office, Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Alabama Agricultural Extension Services, US National Park Service, US Forest Service, and many others.

Live music, drumming circle, Cajun food, hands-on activities, arts court (basket making, pottery, flint knapping, garden plant sale, information booths, children’s court (parachute play, pony rides, live animals & crafts), hikes & more!

Proceeds from vending will benefit the Calhoun County LINC Program & Children's Center. LINC ID cards will be available for students in grades 3 - 12. When kids make a pledge to be "drug & violence free" they will receive discounts all over Calhoun County.
