Alabama Jobs Career, Internship Fair March 3

2 March 2005 — Alabama Jobs 2005, a professional career and internship fair, will be held on March 3 at the RSA Activities Center, Dexter Avenue, Montgomery, 1 - 4 p.m. The job fair is being co-hosted by the Higher Education Partnership, Business Council of Alabama, and the Alabama Association of Colleges and Employers.

This year's career fair has employers coming from across the state who will be recruiting for students with degrees in engineering, business, finance, logistics, marketing, retail, management, accounting, human resources, communications and broadcasting just to name a few. Students are encouraged to bring resumes and attend the job fair following the Higher Ed Day Rally.

Alabama Jobs 2005 is held in conjunction with Higher Ed Day. The morning activities includes a rally on the steps of the Alabama State House and a barbeque lunch following on the grounds of the State Capitol. The career and internship fair, the afternoon event, allows students to experience first hand the rewards of their education. Through their interaction with potential employers, the students have the opportunity to match their skills with job opportunities.

For the past six years, these two events have worked hand in hand to provide a tremendous experience for all participants. The Partnership encourages interested individuals to join us on March 3.

A listing of participating employers can be found on our website at www.higheredpartners.org. Employers understand that most students will have attended the rally; therefore, business casual dress is accepted at this career fair.
