Cell Phones for Transplant Patients

31 January, 2004 � Jacksonville State University students are collecting used cell phones to benefit people waiting for organ transplants and who might need to make an emergency call.

The�JSU Freshman Forum is conducting its third annual Project Valentine through February 28. Members will be collecting used cell phones for organ transplant patients in case they need�to make life-saving 911 phone calls for free.

Old cell phones can be turned over to the Office of Student Life, 402�Theron Montgomery Building,�between 8:00 a.m.�and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.�Please make sure the cell phones have batteries and chargers.�
