Sale of Surplus University Property

27 January, 2005 — A sale of surplus University property is planned for January 26 through January 31st as viewing dates. The sale will be sealed bid with items placed in various size lots. Bids will be opened FEBRUARY 1st 2005 at 10:00 a.m. in the Office of Purchasing Room 103 Bibb Graves Hall. Bids can be made starting JANUARY 26 THROUGH THE 31st.

The sale items will be available for inspection at the JSU warehouse. Bid response sheets will be available when the items are inspected.

You or your department may find items needed in your department now; if so you must let me know before JANUARY 21, 2005, so they won't become sale items.

This sale will be old computers and monitors, some furniture, projectors, printers, telephones just to mention some items. A large furniture sale will soon follow from Forney Hall.

All proceeds from the sale will go to the University Scholarship Fund for student scholarships. If you have any questions about this sale, please contact Don Richardson, Inventory Manager, in the JSU warehouse at extension 5448.
