April 8, 2004 -- Dugger Mountain is one of Alabama's highest and most beautiful places. Take a hike with Keith Hudson of the Anniston Outdoor Association, Renee Morrison, JSU's Field School coordinator, and Jason Shelton, a JSU botanist, at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 17 amidst giant hardwoods, steep mountainsides, and tranquil, crystal-clear streams. Hikers should bring a daypack with food and water. Sturdy footwear and proper clothing are recommended. Pre-registration is required.
