Calhoun County Civic Chorale Concert April 6

March 30, 2004 -- The Calhoun County Civic Chorale will present Théodore Dubois' cantata, The Seven Last Words of Christ, on Tuesday, April 6, 7:00 p.m. at the Church of St. Michael and All Angels in Anniston.  Admission is free.

The Chorale will also perform Ralph Vaughan Williams' Five Mystical Songs, featuring Dr. Nathan Wight, new voice professor at Jacksonville State University.

The Chorale is under the direction of Dr. Patricia Corbin, JSU director of choral activities. Steven Schneider of Birmingham will be the guest organist. Angela Crosby of Jacksonville, David Dempsey of Jacksonville, and Timothy Ballard of Anniston will also be featured soloists.
