March 29, 2004 -- Northeast Alabama's natural cuisine of spring is the topic
of a Little River Canyon
Field School workshop beginning at 9 a.m. on April 10 at DeSoto State
Botanist Francine Hutchinson will teach how to identify, collect, and
prepare many edible plants. The morning session will involve ethical, legal,
and sustainable collecting,
and the afternoon session will focus on preparation.
